County Roadside Cleanup

Attention, Osage County!

We have some exciting news to share with you today! The Osage County Jail had its Inmate Roadside Clean Up crews hard at work, making our county roads and highways cleaner and more beautiful than ever before!

Under the guidance of Sheriff Eddie Virden, these inmate crews hit the streets today, demonstrating their commitment to both community service and personal growth.

This initiative not only benefits our community, but it also presents incredible opportunities for the inmates themselves. By participating in this roadside clean-up, they are earning valuable time off their jail sentences. This provides them with a chance to reframe their lives, develop new skills, and work towards a brighter future.

The Osage County Jail’s inmate crews have been hard at work picking up trash along our county roads and highways throughout the day. By removing litter, they are helping to create a more welcoming and sustainable environment for everyone to enjoy.

We commend these individuals for their dedication and their commitment to making a positive impact in our community. Their efforts are truly transforming both their own lives and the landscape of Osage County. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate and recognize their hard work!

If you come across these crews in their bright reflective vests while driving around the county, kindly slow down and give them some space to work safely. Your support and respect will make a significant difference!

Remember, a cleaner community not only enhances our quality of life but also sets the stage for brighter days ahead. Let’s continue to work together, uplift one another, and make Osage County shine!
