OCSO Jail Using High Tech Body Scanner

📢 Osage County Sheriff’s Office Announcement 📢

🔍 We are pleased to inform you that the Osage County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) has recently upgraded its prisoner search capabilities within the Jail with the introduction of the state-of-the-art Soter RS Body Scanner. This vital tool was acquired through a grant.

💯 The Soter RS Body Scanner is a proven and practical application of technology that has replaced traditional strip search procedures. Given the unpredictability of human behavior during searches, the Soter RS allows us to identify contraband in a safe and efficient manner. Through this scanner, we can instantly obtain high-resolution head-to-toe body scans, ensuring 100% screening of the individuals in question. The Soter RS is designed not only to detect metal and plastic, but also organic materials, providing our staff with full HD plus images. Its extensive analysis capabilities enable us to easily identify a wide range of contraband items.

⚙️ The Soter RS is compact and user-friendly, requiring minimal training for operation. The scans are of high quality and achieved with a minimum amount of radiation, posing no harm to those being scanned.

🚓 Prisoners are now brought into a secure ‘Sally-port’ where the Soter RS Body Scanner conducts a thorough scan before they enter the jail’s booking area. Furthermore, the machine maintains a detailed log each time it is used, ensuring compliance with records requests.

⚠️ Since installing the Soter RS, the OCSO has successfully intercepted several contraband items, including drugs like Methamphetamine and Fentanyl. We are immensely grateful to have this technology at our disposal, as it plays a significant role in our ongoing commitment to the safety and security of all Osage County citizens.

Thank you for your continued support!
