Deputy Justin Kling was appointed as a Criminal Investigator for the Osage County Sheriffs Office in January of 2011. Prior to becoming an Investigator, Deputy Kling worked in the Patrol Division covering all the areas of Osage County since January of 2008.
Prior to his duties at the Osage County Sheriffs Office, Deputy Kling started his civilian Law Enforcement career with the Newkirk Police Department in February of 2006 where he attended C.L.E.E.T.
Deputy Kling served in the U.S. Air Force from 1999 until 2003 as a member of the 21st Security Forces Squadron in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Deputy Kling deployed to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in support of U.S. Campaigns, Operation Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom.
Throughout his career in Law Enforcement, Deputy Kling has received hundreds of training hours to include the Criminal Investigation Academy. In 2009, he received a letter of commendation for his efforts in a child abuse case which ultimately ended in a conviction for the offender.
